small-luxury-world

My passion for the "finer things in life" inspired me to start this blog, called small-luxury-world.


Unlike the title suggests, this does not mean that I am addicted to luxury in its common manifestation. It´s not about money or showing off! The unbridled lust of the waste is not what drives me. Big brands, logos, price tags, ... - I couldn´t care less.


Real values are something I am more interested in. For example quality - in most of the cases knowledge is the key to see and understand the quality of something. Sometimes beauty gets my attention first, but is there beauty without quality? ...


You will find a range of "Things I like ..." here. Maybe some of you know the song: My favorite things. I´m listening to the version by Al Jarreau & Kathleen Battle (whilst typing this), but several very nice can be found on YouTube. For me it was an inspiration for this blog and even better ... it makes me smile.


This blog does not claim to be THE knowledge base and sometimes the contributions will be (highly) subjective, but always created with a passion & love. Sometimes I will only share pictures of something I like, sometimes I will try to share some of my knowledge or my thoughts about about an object, sometimes I will write in German as it is my mother tongue, sometimes friends of mine will contribute, sometimes ... - we will see.


You can see it is a platform about luxury things, with the intention to share and create a base for further discussions. If there is something you like to see on here or something YOU know more about, please feel free to share.
